Bio

I live in Larkspur, CA, in beautiful Marin County, just north of San Francisco.

I've worked as a software engineer for 18 years, focusing on building Mac and iOS most of that time. Mostly recnetly I was an iOS Staff Engineer at Whatnot. Before that, I was at Apple for 4 years, where I worked on SpringBoard (Stage Manager on iPad, widgets on iOS, the iPad Cursor) and Shortcuts (Personal Automations). Before that, the iOS tech lead at Upthere, built the Found Mac app, and worked on the Mac, iPhone, and iPad apps at Sonos.

In a past life, I designed and built mechanical things at a plasma physics research lab. I was literally this close to being a literal rocket scientist.
